Our Family of Faith
Besides a being place to gather and worship, St. John is home to a number of groups that meet to learn, create, and socialize. A few of the groups at St. John’s include:
Men’s Group: Meets for Bible study; helps with groundskeeping on Church Work Days
WELCA: Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Women’s group that meets to learn and do service.
Dartball Team: Group of men (and women) who travel a circuit of area churches playing dartball.
Quilters: Meet weekly - quilts are donated to those in need.
Youth Group: Meets monthly and does various activities.
Congregation and community-wide events include potlucks, apple cider pressings, hayrack rides, bonfires, cookouts, and concerts.
