The St. John's Church Experience

St. John's Lutheran Church conducts both traditional and contemporary Church Services.  Church services start at 9:00 a.m. followed by Fellowship in the Church Basement.  Sunday School for all ages starts at 10:15 a.m.

The traditional services follow the long established Order of Worship.  The music for the service is played on the pipe organ and occasionally on piano.  The Lord's Supper is served on the 1st and 3rd  Sunday's of the Month.

The contemporary service "The Chicago Folk Service" is performed the third Sunday of the month.  This service is accompanied by guitars, flutes and piano.  Most of the songs have been written in the last 30 years and are performed in a more upbeat fashion.
